Aquest text tan sols pretén
encuriosir a qui el llegeixi sobre un procés
revolucionari a escala estatal ocorregut a l’oest de la
península ibèrica (el penúltim de l’Europa
occidental?), així com incitar a un debat sobre aquells
fets que pugui ser-nos útils per a la pràctica
actual en els moviments socials horitzontals, de base
anti-capitalista i anti-autoritària, que tracten de
dinamitzar processos revolucionaris en diverses escales de la
quotidianeitat. Cal tenir en compte que la revolució
portuguesa va influir de forma significativa en el
desenvolupament de la ‘transició’ espanyola
(Sánchez Cervelló, 1993).
Amb aquest article l’autor no pretén
oferir cap teoria acabada que expliqui allò que va
ocorrer entre 1974 i 1975 a Portugal (tampoc sabem si això
és possible), sino apuntar alguns processos i oferir una
petita bibliografia de referència per a aquells que
vulguin entrar en la temàtica.
De cara a focalitzar un xic l’àmbit
d’estudi, l’article se centra en allò
ocorregut a les àrees urbanes portugueses, principalment
les àrees de Lisboa, Porto i Setúbal. Per una
altra ocasió resta una aproximació a la reforma
agrária i els processos revolucionaris a les àrees
rurals.
This paper tries to arouse reader´s
curiosity on a state revolutionary process which takes place in
the West of the Iberian Peninsula (perhaps the next to last of
the western Europe?). Overmore, the article tries to spur on a
debate of that facts with the aim of being useful for the
present horizontal social movements – anti-capitalist and
anti-authoritarian – which try to stir into action
revolutionary process in diferent daily routine scales. The
article also insist on the important influence of the
Portuguese revolution in the development of the transition to
democracy in Spain after Franco´s death. Through this
article the author do not try to offer any finished theory
which settles the facts that took place in Portugal (perhaps it
is not possible!) but to be an introduction to a range of
topics and subjects. The article focus on the urban portuguese
areas, principallly the areas of Lisbon, Porto and Setúbal.
The revolutionary process in rural areas and the Land
Reform remain to be studied in later works.
